Q: How do I open the bank?
A: The clear belly is held in place by a long bolt and cap nut. A screw driver or dime can be used to loosen the screw. Make sure you are ready to catch the coins when they fall out!

Q: Won't the coins fall out of the track before they drop into the belly?
A: The patented coin track is designed with a vertical slot that will accept pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters in only one orientation. The coins cannot fall out of the track before they exit the track and fall into the belly. Part of the fun in feeding the Donation Dog and Cat is in being able to watch the coins travel all the way down the slot.

Q: Can I put dollar coins or half dollar coins into the bank?
A: The banks are designed to handle US coins up to the size of a quarter. A larger slot could be cut into the belly itself if you required larger coins to be saved in the belly. Thankful Paws does not alter the plastic belly and any modifications would be the responsibility of the purchaser.

Q: How about dollar bills?
A: Dollar Bills can be rolled or folded and put into the belly through the opening at the bottom of the coin track. Alternatively, you can drill a 3/4" hole through the belly for the rolled up bills. Thankful Paws does not alter the plastic belly and any modifications would be the responsibility of the purchaser.

** Due to the size and weight of the Donation Banks, they will be shipped separately if other apparel items are ordered. They will be shipped by United States Postal Service - Parcel Post for $15.00 for the first bank and $5.00 for each additional one (in the U.S. only).

Due to limitations in Pay Pal's shipping calculations for more than one bank, the shipping may calculate $15.00 instead of $5.00 for the additional banks. If this is the case, we will issue a refund.
