"My deaf and visually impaired Great Dane, Aspen, is the inspiration for our line of Apparel for Owners of Rescued Dogs. When Aspen was a young puppy, she was abandoned in a park in Washington, D.C. Thanks to volunteers with the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League, Inc., Aspen was rescued and I adopted her. She is the most gentle and trusting soul. She loves everyone and anything. And smart!! Aspen has learned over 30 hand signals. She's a Therapy Dog and visits local Assisted Living facilities and attends many events for the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League, Inc. I'm so proud of her everyday and hope other owners of rescued dogs will enjoy what we have to offer."
